Covington and its team have distinguished themselves in the Industry by providing services of the highest quality. These include:

1. Rapid response from receipt of instructions and immediate contact being made with Masters of vessels and rapid deployment of experienced surveyors until the vessel's departure or termination of instructions.

2. Relevant suggestions for the best mode of operations -The Company deals with each instruction (vessel) on an individual basis and on its own merits. With a good understanding of the Nigerian shipping sector, Covington has pioneered a novel system of conducting pre-discharge meetings between all relevant parties before commencement of discharge in order to ensure transparency and to a large extent, help avoid frivolous claims by cargo receivers.

3. Crises Management -The Company helps to manage problems that arise out of its duties as correspondents such as stevedoring problems, repatriations, dealing and liaising with regulatory authorities, mitigating loss or damage to cargo and generally assisting Masters of clients' vessels with unforeseen problems.
